Athletics Index

Beechen Cliff School athletics has a fantastic reputation thanks largely to Olympic gold medallist Jason Gardener. Former pupil Gardener proudly holds a number of school records as does fellow old boy and Great Britain athlete Dan Cousins. Both Athletes return to the school to coach the current crop of athletes.

The school competes in all major schools athletic competitions. The Bath Schools Championships is hosted at the University of Bath. The school hosts an annual Sports day in which pupils compete in house teams. The day is fully supported by the staff at Beechen Cliff.
