Somerset Cup U13 -Semi Final

Beechen Cliff 47 Clevedon 15

The Year 8 boys took on a strong Clevedon outfit at Shaft Road on Wednesday afternoon in the sem-final of the U13 Somerset Cup. Clevedon had a gigantic pack who outweighed our forwards and they had a back line with many threats. However our Year 8 team played to their strengths and ran the ball from all positions on the field and were 26 points up in the first 15 minutes.

On a overcast Wednesday afternoon with a slight chill developing as the light started to fade the U 16 Rugby Team made the ultimate step into the Final of the Somerset Cup by overcoming our strongest local rivals. with a long history of competition against Beechen Cliff.
