Pupils in year 9 will be will be making decisions about the subjects they would like to study for Year 10. In order to support them with making these choices, we have set out the following series of events. The deadline for making their choices is Monday 10th February 2025.
- In December we will write to all Year 9 parents to provide information about the options process. In addition, all Year 9 pupils will be taking part in our Ignite Day on Tuesday 3rd December where they will hear about the options process and receive taster sessions for the different subject on offer.
- In early January there will also be an assembly for Year 9 pupils as well as a parents options evening on Tuesday 14th January at which time the options process will be explained in more detail.
- Additional one to one guidance for pupils to support with decision making will also be provided to pupils in school throughout January.

Once subjects have been chosen, we ask parents to complete and submit the choices online. A link to the online options form is available at the bottom of the page.
