Head of Psychology

To start from 1st September 2016, we are looking to appoint an exceptional Head of Psychology who will inspire and motivate students in this traditional 'Outstanding' Bath school (boys in the lower school, mixed in the 6th Form). We need someone with dynamism who will lead a small team within this large and vibrant sixth form and one who aspires to the unconventional and can stimulate a fascination in the subject both within and beyond the confines of the classroom. All Psychology teaching is at A Level and we would expect the successful candidate to demonstrate an ability to deliver outstanding academic results and exemplary classroom practice.

The School has a vibrant extra-curricular life which includes sport, music, debating and public speaking. A willingness to contribute will be a clear advantage. Head of Religion, Philosophy & Ethics

To start from 1st September 2016, we are looking to appoint an exceptional Head of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics (RPE) who will inspire and motivate students in this traditional 'Outstanding' Bath school (boys in the lower school, mixed in the Sixth Form). We need someone with dynamism who will lead a small team within the Humanities Faculty and one who aspires to the unconventional and can stimulate a fascination in the subject both within and beyond the confines of the classroom. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate an ability to deliver outstanding academic results and exemplary classroom practice.

The Religious Studies results are very good and the Faculty is proud of the many humanities students who continue their studies at university including Oxbridge. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Religious Studies at all levels including A Level.
