The intended impact is that all pupils have a strong understanding of the subjects they have learned over the programme of study and can link learning from different subjects together. They will have developed a love of learning and high aspirations. They will be confident readers, enjoy reading and have developed a broad vocabulary.

All pupils will have made good progress and any gaps in knowledge will have been caught up. Numeracy and literacy skills will be well developed and pupils will know how to apply them across the curriculum and beyond.

The aim is that all pupils will have participated in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, benefited from these experiences and have developed the confidence to step out of their comfort zone and the desire to take advantage of further opportunities at Key Stage 4.

Pupils will have a good understanding of their strengths and interests and will be able to clearly articulate the knowledge they have learned. They will have made good decisions for their future in terms of the option choices they have made for GCSE.
